- Classrooms & Workplaces: You may freely broadcast PomodoroSounds audio generators and timers in shared coworking spaces, university study halls, and classrooms.
- Live Streaming & Podcasts: You may use PomodoroSounds as low-volume background ambience during live study streams (e.g. "Study With Me" broadcasts on YouTube or Twitch) provided you do not misrepresent the audio as your own proprietary commercial sample pack.
- Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive volume, deploy denial-of-service attacks, or redistribute the procedural audio engine code as a competing paid service without express written permission.
3. Auditory Health & Medical Disclaimer
Not Medical Advice: PomodoroSounds provides algorithmic ambient sounds and binaural frequency oscillations (such as 40Hz Gamma and 10Hz Alpha) solely as cognitive productivity and concentration aids. The services and content are not intended as, and should not replace, professional medical diagnosis, psychiatric care, or treatment for ADHD, clinical anxiety, tinnitus, depression, or insomnia.
Safe Listening Volumes: Prolonged exposure to high-volume audio through headphones can cause irreversible hearing damage. We strongly recommend setting audio channels between 30% and 50% volume and maintaining comfortable decibel levels below 70 dB SPL.
Safety Caution: Never listen to binaural beats or ambient noise while driving a motor vehicle, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in tasks requiring split-second physical reaction time. If you experience dizziness, nausea, or headache, immediately lower the volume or discontinue use.
4. Intellectual Property
The design, layout, graphics, trademarks, custom synthesizer graph architectures, and client-side source code of PomodoroSounds are the exclusive intellectual property of PomodoroSounds and its creators, protected under international copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.
5. Client-Side Data Sovereignty & Backups
All user data (including tasks, daily Pomodoro completion logs, custom sound mixes, and preferences) is stored entirely client-side in your device's browser localStorage. Because PomodoroSounds does not maintain user accounts or cloud databases:
- We cannot recover your task history or statistics if you clear your browser cache or reset site data.
- You are solely responsible for exporting or backing up critical session records if needed.
6. Third-Party Links & Voluntary Donations
The platform contains an optional supporter link to Buy Me a Coffee to help defray ongoing domain registration and hosting costs. These voluntary contributions are non-refundable and do not grant preferential access or ownership rights. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party platforms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
